For the ninth time since its inception, Brunel University brings together young graduates from 11 nationalities infusing the team with varied knowledge, skills and resources to take on the challenge of designing a tamer version of a formula style car as a part of their academia! In their quest for engineering excellence, the team will battle against competeting teams coming from the farthest corners of the world at the Formula Student event in July 2013 which will be held at Silverstone, UK.

Formula Student
Formula Student is an annual competetion held in the UK at Silverstone. Its a platform for young engineers to put their skills as a motorsport engineer to the test.
Teams are judged in areas such as like static & dynamic testing, accleration & braking test, autocross and endurance events etc. Under the eyes of the experts which come various global organisations the students get assessed for their design choices, team management skills, engineering practices followed, ability to perfom under pressure and also their approach in selling their designed car as a viable investment in the automotive sector.
Formula Student is organised by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) resembles in many ways the parent competition Formula SAE which is run by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
